Welcome to Millais

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Millais website and I hope it goes some way towards answering your questions and informing your choice.

As one of the leading specialist schools in the country, Millais has an enviable reputation for academic success which was further enhanced by our designation as an 'Outstanding' school by Ofsted in 2010 and again in 2014.

Whilst we are delighted to receive such an accolade for the exceptional quality of education we provide, it also reinforces the message we constantly give to our pupils - namely to set their sights high.

We are confident that our aspirations for your daughter will challenge and inspire her.  We hope that she will leave us as a happy, enthusiastic individual who has achieved her academic potential, with confidence, skills and values she needs to succeed in an ever changing world.

The governors, staff, pupils, parents and I are very proud of this school and its achievements.  We make exceptional claims but if you take the opportunity to come and see for yourselves, then I think you will share our enthusiasm.  I look forward to meeting you.

Message to Year 6 parents wishing to visit Millais School for their Open Evening on 1st October.

Advanced warning about severe parking restrictions.

As you are probably aware, there are building works currently taking place at Millais School. This has drastically reduced parking availability in the areas we normally suggest to visitors.

This message is to pre-warn prospective parents coming to the Open Evening on 1st October that there will be extremely restricted parking on site on that evening, if at all. There may be a small number of spaces in the car park off Highlands Road (tennis court).

Many apologies for the inconvenience that this may cause.
